Jeepney chic does not translate to cars, especially outside of the Philippines. The sad thing is that in his own world, he thinks it is the shiznit. i think he's basing it on the fact that all the fob flips here in hawaii do ridiculous things to their rides i.e. like chrome fender lining on the honda's are use mailbox decals and rock them on their civics/accords, compared to a local person who wouldn't dare to that type of mod to his/her ride.
