i have quite a few friends that drive EVO's and from what i hear its mainly the fifth gear grinding. a close friends of mine has a EVO 9 with about 15k on the odo. and he is having that problem.

I have 20k on my evo 9 and no griding on 5th. How does your friend drive that car? Does he beat on it alot? I don't beat on it and I have taken it to a track day event once so far.
