i'll see if i can make it out tomorrow...i work till 8 and if my friends go then i'll definitely meet up with them...btw where u the guy looking for an uppipe and downpipe? i have a HKS DP with a DIY CEL fix...send me a pm if you're interested and wanna meet up...

yup...but i've been looking at the helix up/downpipes...they're a really good price on subydude and jsc speed...but considering buying yours...how much are you selling it for again?...does the HKS have a bell shape where the dp meets the turbo?...haven't done much research on it das y...

I wanna go either Friday or Saturday to time my car with the new exhaust (Borla Hush). Gotta get a "pass" from my wife first.

BTW, the HKS dp is not a bell mouth. it is just a flat flange. I think the '04 WRX requires a different CEL fix than the '02-'03.

hmm...my girlfriend is comming with me...so i dont need to get a "pass" from her... ... wow...i thought it would require the same CEL fix...well...do you know where i would get the CEL fix for the 04?

i heard PDE up/downpipes are good...anyone care to give me some info on this brand?...i even heard you dont need CEL fix with this up/downpipe...

The PDE doesn't require an electronic cel fix because it relocates the O2 sensor so that it reads values that are within its expected range. You could do a mechanical fix in a similar manner by just relocating the O2 sensor slightly like this:

quite a few people have the pde up/downpipe combo. and yeah its true, no cel. imma buy my pde uppipe soon from speedgear

I too ran a PDE up/down combo. Very nice construction, installs were very clean, pieces fit nicely.

Oh, I'm gonna try and make it to HRP tonite...
