OK if you think about it $600 is not that bad for a system look at how much a normal BluRay player cost $1000+ so what you get out of the PS3 is a good deal.

Also I dont think BR is going to be bad, just look at the quality of the pictures your going to get.... better then HD-DVD haha.... Xbox you loser cant even play HD-DVD out of the box....

I just want the 60gig PS3 cause it has the extra features in it memory stick slots and seiit also the silver face.. but if I have to and cant get the 60gig then ill get the 20gig whatevers works with me aslong as I get one in my hands.

PS3 cant play old PS games ahhh there will be somekinda update for that right? I heard you havea to update the system when you get it to play some games?? there will always be updates maybe to even fix bugs.

 

since I work at Sear Alamoana im gonna try tomorrow and see if were gonna get some in stock if not ill try Best Buy I just want to get back to being a gamer so I dont spend money on my car that much anymore I wast to much money on it I just want to save up hehe....

 

600 bucks, limited quantities and relatively weak launch titles...I think I can wait. The Wii looks kind of tempting at $249.00 with a game included plus the latest Zelda game as a launch title, looks like Nintendo is baaack!

 

arent there other differences between the two versions other than just HDD size?

 

Nintendo hasn't been great IMO since Super Nintendo. Hell the only thing keeping them alive was titles like Mario Bros (all varieties, Pokemon and Zelda. I think if it wasnt for Pokemon Ninetendo would have folded along with Sega.

if you go to best buy the way its going to work is you have to get in line (preferably early) and the first X amount of people will get a ticket and that will guarantee you one PS3. according to their website each bestbuy is guaranteed atleast 20 PS3's with 10%-15% being the 20 gig ones


good luck to those that will be trying. I for one have one on reservation at toy-rrific and will wait till i am called. I got my name early on the list so I am actually #5. The unfortunate side is since they are a small store they are only getting two on the release day and they said I should have mine by the second or even third shipment. So hopefully by then some of the bugs are worked out. If not oh well thats what updates and patches are for. To be honest I am buying a PS3 to play new games not old ones, if I want to do that I still have a PS2.

 

Being a big nintendo fan I have to hate and agree with ya, although i wonder who is gonna come out on top in this battle, what u think dude, i mean i want a ps3 one day, but would like an HD tv for it. I like how the Wii comes like it said it would, except for it not playing dvd's, gameinformer said so?! anyone else got an opinion on this?

 

blah....blah....blah....stick with atari! that was my first computer game....ha ha...not like i care about all of these....actually don't even touch them...u know this jess....besides my psp....that i play....
