No Phone is 100% bulletproof.
Reception really matter where you live and where you are. I haven't had any dropped calls.

Droid Haters.....If you had an iPhone you wouldn't be saying these things.
I don't hate on Droid but alot of droids hate on iPhone.

As a previous Iphone owner:
I think the cameras are great. I thought all of that stuff about photons and low lighting was just Steve Jobs rhetoric, but the cameras are REALLy clear.
The phone feels the same as far as OS goes. Nothing spectacular. If you had an Iphone and looking for something new and to be dazzled, this new phone will bore you on that front. They fixed most of the complaints. I think that's a better way of putting it.
I personally don't like the smaller size. I find that I'm cupping the phone with my fingers by accident a lot because it's thinner. I think if I get a thick case this won't happen. But I think my fingers are too long (that's what she said). So they wrap and hit the screen small kind...
I have a Nexus one (which is amoled), and I think this screen is nicer. It's very clear and so the retina display rhetoric is also well warranted.
Overall....if you're a former Iphone user (or current) and if you have the 3gs, don't wait in line for this thing. It's better.
But...I don't know about breakthrough.
And like I said before, I'm scared of the Facetime calling actually.
Can you imagine "Let's have Asia to the main stage"
"Uhh who is that honey? "
"Oh nothing..."
"Hey how come you're not accepting the facetime request?"
"Oh...uhhh my camera lens is....dirty.."
