So what times are you all running, now?

well, ...... all I will say is that the track sucks ***, ... the timers are included in that "suck ***". B/c when a Civic pulls a 1.3 or 1.5 60' time, it just Shows that the sh*t is F'ed up. SO it's safe to say, unfortunately, that the damn timing system is about as accurate as a g tech or something ....

I added the Blitz SUS - nice mod - quicker spool-up on the turbo. I had 3 runs. Ran 2 in the 12.8's and my best was 12.72 with a 60' foot of 1.793 (cold track) at 107.23.
MODS:
Blitz SUS
TurboSmart BOV
HKS- Carbon-Ti
Catless DP (Airborne Motorsports) - Cat still in midpipe
TurboXS MBC at 16

No hate/judgement here - just citing examples of previous mainland runs. A 1.49 second 60' is NO JOKE! You'd keep up or walk a 11-second F-body on slicks at the track with a short time like that.

There was a guy here in Indy that I saw run a 12.82@104 mph a couple of weeks ago. That was with a TXS turboback and a MBC. He hit a 1.70 60', so the guy could drive as well.
I've done a 12.924@104.89mph at PIR which is reportedly a slow track. 1.744 60ft, which should have been a 1.6xx if it wasn't for the starting line going to grease last couple of runs. It did a nice burnout off the line.
Last week was my first time to the track. I ran my STI (HKS Carbon-TI, and MBC). 1.764 60'. 13.04 seconds
Another STI there (full turboback exhaust, mbc, Blitz intake) ran a 1.69 60' and a 12.65 quarter.

My trap speed was just over 107mph. In order to get 1.6 you need to drive it like you stole it. However, I have run several high 12.6X @ 107 with 1.7X 60ft.

I couldn't find any of my faster slips [riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight, you say!
] but here's one of first 11-second passes in my '94 Stang back in the day.
This was on 8.5" M/T E.T. Spotsman slicks, 6k rpm clutch drop on a Centerforce DF clutch.
At the time the car had welded in sub-frame connectors, but no rollbar or drag suspension so the 60' is weak - but still indicative of a stock-suspensioned Mustang just shy of 400 RWHP.
Once the car gained 50RWHP & had suspension mods & bar the 60's became much better - but even while pulling the front wheel(s) I don't think I ever mustered a 1.4.
Subaru AWD ROCKS!

Isn't it great that WRX's and STi's can pull 60' times comparable to - or even faster than big power RWD musclecars on slicks?
My personal best 60' in the WRX has been 1.74. I would have been RIGHT on the tail of my first 11-second pass in the Mustang with my daily driver little Subaru. That's PRICELESS.

Hey - I wan't racing anybody - I didn't need to be quick on the tree.
I was gunning for my first 11-second pass and the track was DEAD - so I had all the time in the world to "prepare" for the launch.

Horsepower Calculator Input:
Total Car Weight (with driver): 3400
E/T (quarter mile elapsed time): 12.98
Trap Speed (MPH at end of quarter mile): 101.38
Output:
Trap Speed Method: approx. 276 HP
ET Method: approx. 307 HP
That's really good without a boost controller or downpipe.
Here's mine with a down-pipe...
Horsepower Calculator Input:
Total Car Weight (with driver): 3400
E/T (quarter mile elapsed time): 13.33
Trap Speed (MPH at end of quarter mile): 99.98
Output:
Trap Speed Method: approx. 265 HP
ET Method: approx. 284 HP

Hehehe - yeah. It's not a huge wheelie (that was what the '71 was for!) but it's enough for the steering to get light for the first dozen feet or so of the run. Fun!

Good to hear all the great times. Been a few days since I've been onoine, but thanks for the news. I was supposed to go out to Montgomery to the track this weekend, but we couldn't leave Columbus/Phenix City area
BTW: Every WRX I've met and waved to has waved back...
