Yes, I'm still shaking! The Forester and all that other crap can wait. There's nothing in my price range that I'd rather have at this point.
Wes: Thanks for hosting, and providing the drinks. You are the turbo mastah!
Richard: You and Wes make a hell of a team. Stage 4 install in ~4 hours?!? I thought it was supposed to be hard. More importantly, you took one in the back of the throat for me. Now that's a friend!
Mike: Your car sounds INSANE! My knees got weak when I heard that sucker go WOT.
Sean: Without your help, I'd still be trying to get my grill off. I can't see **** b/c they're pointed like a boob job gone wrong, but the lights look sick!
Pat: ...it's all good bro. They went back and checked your ecu install, and that was kosher. The car feels goooood, but I think you'll still be ahead in the wagon race.
Many thanks to all that helped. I owe you guys some shots of Patron.
Oh, and for all those people (RSX, SRT, et al) that talk smack about the WRX's capabilties from a roll, they need to go see Mr. Smith.

A couple more things I learned...
- A tap and die set rocks! ...especially the ratcheting ones.
- You should replace all the bolts and studs you remove during an install, i.e. pitch stop.

My knees got weak when I saw that sucker go WOO.

I'm still ahead for now, but WRT how long it took Wes, Richard, and me to get our times down - due to EMS fighting ECU, I don't think your reflash has to learn anything; unless one of the things not programed during the reflash is long term fuel trim. I wouldn't be surprised if next weekend, after taking a few passes and getting a feel for your new st4, that you rattle of a 13.0 or better.

You'll have to let me in on the secret on that one. What sort of car was he beating on? Was he driving your wagon? Why on earth would an RSX talk trash?
Hey Richie, mega-congrats. Seriously, I am competitive but not against the HIIC. I'm in your corner. On the other hand, I think I've finally found my motivation for my car. While I would like to continue making it into a safe and powerful ride for trackdays, I saw where that purple Supra made the statement about being Hawaii's fastest full interior import on his placard at the carshow. I know it won't be an overnight thing, but I'd like to see if I can make him eat his words...and I'd like to do it on a 2.0 non-stroked block.

Pat,
If you picked up a Tony Rigoli motor from ESX you'd put Cedric in his place... Now THAT would be a sight to see!
