drove from Minneapolis to Sleepy Eye throw slush and snow... it blew chunks. Feel free to post a local weather report to make you feel better. I had a good time despite driving my wife's car.

Good luck smoking this pot
Fun stuff. This is a shot of the unplowed street next to our house. Since it's Sunday I can't imagine that we're going to see a plow truck anytime soon.

2-4" in Minn = no big deal, or even in IN where I'm from.
What's funny is living somewhere like TN or GA where folks don't know what snow looks like and they get even 1" of snow. It's amazing to see a whole city of drivers slip and slide all around.
A person from Minn wouldn't have any problems driving in 1" of snow (I don't know about 4". Good luck, Greg.
) Where's your car? What an awesome time to own a WRX, huh?
No joke, in 1991 I was just discharged from the Army. I had a 1989 5.0 Mustang and decided to drive it across country to Indiana (home). There was a blizzard, I swear, from Flagstaff to Albuquerque (The town of Albuquerque was an Oasis, then as soon as I got out of town it raged on again), from Alb. through Amarillo up to Joplin, and then it pretty much stopped. Through those areas, ~1800 mile, it was extreme blizzard. No one could drive on the interstates any faster than 30mph (for 1800 miles!!!).
I saw about 7 or 8 jacknifed or overturned semi's. I slept in my car and about froze my tootsies every night. I only got stuck once. That was at a truckstop, so I finally got some truckers to push me out. I learned how important 'smooth, even throttle' is. I remember driving for hours with billions of 1/2 dollar sized snowflakes shooting at my windshield like I was flying through an asteroid belt. That was mesmerizing.
....am I rambling? Sorry for the 'jack, Greg.

Well, there's 6 on the ground right now, and it's still snowing to beat the band. Good thing there's a somewhat decent game on (Vikes are trying desperately to lose another one, but the Lions are determined to stop that from happening).
I left my WRX in GA while I came home to spend a little time with my wife and daughter. In a week or so I am going back to drive up solo. Now that I have All-Season Tires I don't worry. Wish I had it last night, though.
My wife was pretty impressed with my driving. We saw a few people in the ditch and she was amazed that I could recover from small slides and knew how to brake on ice. I told her I learned it racing... I had to try.
I might go take the Neon out for a little FWD fun in the drifts.
