yeah, i'd be ****ting bricks if I saw black smoke. I remember my dad telling me about the difference in smoke color and what could be wrong. I just freaked out when I saw it this afternoon. from now on I park facing uphill so no water drips into the exhaust

It's probably condensation as stated by Ty.

yo mike- what you really need to do is this simple test-

start your car.
go to the exaust tip.
inhale
if it smells like coolant- inhale again
if it smells like burning oil inhale again
if you get dizzy and pass out you're screwed either way!
nah, sounds like ty is right. mine do the same thing.
brand new they all do the same thing too.

btw, if you have not changed your oil yet- i got that filter that i forgot to give you the day you brought the rims!

Black smoke isn't usually a very big deal. It usually denotes a rich (overfueled) condition. Blue smoke is what you really have to worry about. Look to your turbo seals and/or pistons/rings at that point.

White is usually steam/condensation and should only really worry you if copious amounts are exhausted and/or the emanation is of a sickly sweet aroma. That would be coolant like Greg was saying.
