Well I just went and found out today my Medical Board results. I was found unfit for duty (no suprise there), but they said that my condition is pre-existing (which is really funny because I never had any back pain prior to time in the Corps, and it continued to get worse as time has gone on). So basically I am getting dumped out on the street. No cash at all. No medical! Oh and to top everything off I just waited 4 extra months in the USMC just to get these results. I have an appeal, but I was told the evaluators will not change their minds without some kind of extreme intervention. Looks like I will be calling my senator.

you should have my mom give you a second opinion. she's no doctor but she does have some pull at the hospital. maybe she can reccomend you to someone. i'll ask her for ya

 

isn't it nice the way our country treats the men that protect us. I say you get the word out... TV, Newspapers, etc...

The more of a stink that you make the more action that will happen, granted it might not all be what you are looking for.

I had a situation shortly after I joined the Navy. Since I didn't know any better (I was 18), my dad called our senator requesting he contact me. I received a letter in the mail with all sorts of contact information within a week.
