My internet service ends today, so take it easy guys. I'll have my laptop, so maybe I can "steal" someone's wireless signal here and there. I'll still be lurking here, but everyone knows Alabama is the real "paradise".

I am here in Montgomery Alabama. It's so hot here the airline wouldn't ship my dog to Montgomery. I had to get off in Atlanta and drive to Montgomery. My rental car showed 97 degrees today. Bad driving abounds here. I saw an 18-wheeler veer onto the shoulder heading for two highway trash guys on foot who didn't see him coming. At the last second the driver wakes up and swerves back onto the road. Almost witnessed carnage and/or a major accident. I've been here for about 8 hours, but already my kids and I don't like it. Less than 10 months to go and counting.
