I would prefer to buy
a well taken care of STI with a few well thought out mods like Silver Satin's than go buy a new 05 wrx...not to cut down on anyone or anything...just my .02...
I've always done this...I would rather buy a new/used high end model with a bunch of options than a new lower model of the same...something to think about.

My car has hardly anything done, Prodrive springs, Kartboy shifter bushings, Whiteline steering rack bushings, short shifter, Project Mu pads, StopTech brake lines, Blitz intake, JDM intercooler spray button, tinted windows, wired for two amps and sub and I think thats it it had a PDE DP and a Greedy EVO exhaust at one time and the stock wheels are now a different color...Man what a shamless plug to sell my car....

I'd rather get a lightly used, relatively new car than a brand-new one for way more. My 04 WRX was $20.5k OTD with only 4500 miles. Nothing wrong with the car and i saved myself like ~$5k; more money for mods

You know...you have a lot on your car that I would
like to get for my car...
Short Shifter...bushings, Brake Pads, we have similar tastes in quality and performance....

That shifter was a pain in the butt and the bushings were also I tore a huge chunck of my finger off to get the stock bushing out. I to would rather buy a low mileage unmolested car for less or the same as a comparable new car. And not that I am too old but I am ready for a car more for cruiseing or long road trips...
