Ok Everyone, after a little delay, here is the final route for this cruise. Had to work out some last minute changes with Scion Evolution organizers. Are you guys ready for a fun day????

*9:00 am - 9:40 am
►Meet at Central Oahu Regional Park by the tennis courts where we meet for HIIC SwapMeet!!! Watch out for some great deals!!!
Please proceed to the registration desk and sign in. Registration is FREE.
***Please bring at least ONE new, unwrapped toy. The more, the merrier!!!***
*9:40-9:45 - Pre-Roll out meeting
☼ 9:45 am Rollout
Cruise Lead: volunteers???
-Turn right onto Kam.Hwy onto the H1 freeway, head towards Honolulu, take the Airport Exit and take the left most lane towards
Aolele St., go thru the stop light (speed limit is 25 mph strictly enforced!!!) towards Lagoon Drive, Aolele St. will take you straight to Keehi Lagoon Park, go thru one more stop light and the park is straight ahead. There will be tennis courts right at the entrance. Please be mindful that the State Sherrif’s patrol this area. No speeding, please.

*10:00 - 11:00 Meet with Scion Evolution and other car clubs…picture opportunities. Picture taking opportunities with the cars, kids, and ohana…

- Take a right on Lagoon Drive towards Nimitz Hwy, right on Nimitz Hwy towards Ala Moana Blvd., make a Left on Coral St.
►Eurosport, 330 Coral Street
Show and Shine in parking lot of Eurosport. Door prizes will b given out to those who donate a toy.
Toys for Tots will be present to collect Toys from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

After the Cruise BBQ Lead by Erica
Where: Sand Island Beach Park
Time: 3:15-???
Potluck - please see the BBQ thread and let us know what you are bringing so we can plan ahead of time.

****Please make sure to bring an umbrella (just in case), sunblock lotion, some extra water/drinks and snacks for kids. These always come in handy.***

Annual 'Toys for Tots' collection set for this Sunday

The Scion Evolution Hawaii Chapter will hold its 2007 Toys for Tots toy drive on Sunday, Nov. 11.
Participants are asked to meet at 10 a.m. at the Keehi Lagoon Park parking lot and to set out on the cruise at 11 a.m.
The cruise will proceed to Eurosport parking lot, at 330 Coral St., for a "show and shine" event to be held from 1 to 4 p.m.
The purpose is the event is to gather as many Hawaii car enthusiasts as possible to assist in the United States Marine Corps' "Toys for Tots" program, which collects toys for unfortunate families and children of Hawaii.
This year the event is open to up to all car and moped enthusiasts.
The event will also celebrate Scion Evolution Hawaii Chapter's third anniversary.

thanks for clarifying this...i really didn't want to get into the politics of this as much as possible, but whatever some of you guys may have heard, let us not forget the true essence of this event...helping the needy kids.
