Scca?
Come do it man! Great group of folks and you can learn a lot about your car. Next event is on the 31st, and its the last event of the season that you will be able to race in.
I would love to do it. I just dont know how to get started. I am already registered at motosportreg.com and I know you have to pay the entry fee and have a helmet. What is this talk of shoe polish though? I am assuming that is for the number they assign you and you have to put it on your side windows. Who gives you the number? I don't know how it all works.lol

You can make your own number but need to make sure it's not taken and that you figure out the right class.
Just go down to the stadium on race day, show up early and Jen Parker and the rest of the crew will help you out!

A bunch of us go. Come out!
For the shoe polish thing, they discourage using it. They prefer magnets or even printed out numbers taped to your car. Once you find out what class you're in, you can choose your number (if its not already taken). You can email Jen or Amy to reserve that number for the season.
Do you already know which class you're in?
