Sand Drags at HRP, anyone?

Sand Drags at HRP, anyone?
I saw an ad at NAPA for Sand Drags at HRP on the 11th. Looks like it could be pretty fun, albeit very dirty. 
Has anyone done anything like that before, or is it just a bad idea for a street car to go out there? I think it would be pretty fun, but I don't know how bad the consequences would be.
