Samco hoses?

Anyone have any input on Samco hoses? How is the quality and fitment? I may need to get some new intercooler piping for my MKIV and the OEM stuff is too expensive.

GREAT!!! have 'em on the M3, they're a little thicker, so it butts up against my airbox (stock hose had a little clearance), but it doesnt pose any problems...much stronger than stock hoses...also, doesnt it have a lifetime warranty?!?

make sure you use the clamps designed for silicone hoses, cause regular clamps will cut into the hoses...

Does the hose kit come with the clamps? If not, what do they look like and where can you get them from?

Also, are the hoses technically legal for stock class?

i bought my hoses locally from someone who didnt install them...i'm pretty sure they dont come with clamps...the factory BMW clamps already dont dig into the rubber, so i just reused my old ones...these clamps are smoother where they contact the hose so they dont cut into the rubber...the "teeth" of the band are finer...it's not the kind you get at home depot, etc., since the "teeth" on those tend to dig into the rubber...

hydra air by the airport should have some of these clamps...if not, check the BMW parts counter ($$$)...

i'm sure it's legal in stock class...and if anyone b!tches about it, lemme know and i shall always and forever ridicule them over the PA system for being a a$$...

edit- check your PM also...
