Hey everyone. I need some advice on where to go for my safety inspection? The only thing I think my sti would fail for is window tint. Anyone know a place I can go that will pass me with dark tint. I dony mind throwing some money to pass.

In all honesty though, I do not know of any safety places that do those kind of checks.

 

Dumb I know but I'm not about to scratch a very good tint job just to pass. Its not worth it in my book. Besides I got what I needed and my sources will remain unknown I.E. I heard from a guy that knows a guy that went to school with a guy whose cousin knew a guy that knows this chick who dates a guy that got his inspection done here.

 

if you think its worth a $1722 fine....then by all means...
pay to play right..... 6 windows... $287 per violation...

 

Does anyone remember te HPD officer Micheal Hunt (not kidding on the name)?

I had a few friends get huge tickets from him as he tageted modded imports and would give the multiple tinted window tickets with no RECON and falsified saftey checks. I am still trying to figure out how so many "VIP" cars are rolling around with no RECON.

Go Honolulu county with RECON and terrible roads...

 

I remember that guy. I don't think he works in Waikiki anymore tho. My friend got one of his infamous tickets.

 

you're willing to "throw someone some money to pass" and pay a minimum $1K in possible tickets but not just have it tinted again?

i haven't read that one yet. what's it called, "musings of the mentally handicapped"?

just because you got a safety doesn't mean you can't still get tickets for all your illegals so i hope you have a large bankroll to offset your lack of brains.
