Is the S204 coming to the states?

Check out the link below I read it twice and all it says is "The S204 edition of the Subaru Impreza WRX STi will be available for sale nationwide starting Janurary 13th and only 600 units will be produced." now is this Japan or US or both??

That's a translated artcile from STi website. They just copy pasted it. (without proper credit, may I add). "Nationwide" refers to Japan's nation.

Them folks in Monterey are all spoiled rich kids anyhow. They'll probably import them.

Jess,

You know I was stationed there back in the late 80's. If you're from Marina, I'm guessing you're a mil brat.

Yeah, it's for sure there isn't as much wealth in Marina, Salinas, and Seaside. Even in those towns, the COL isn't cheap.

spoolinmontereybay is my site btw, coowned with suzwrx, we were contacted by HSPN network's attorney and told to desist use of their article. I've since removed it just in case you're wondering where the article went on my site.

Y'all may be broke like me, but....do you have a back room I could move into?

Hawaii & Monterey are the two places I've lived that I really regret that I had to move away from.

Pat I am definetly a military brat but my parents are both from the Marina/Salinas area. I was actually born on Ft Ord then we moved around till my dad some how got to go back to Ft. Ord and spend his final 6 years till retirement there. As far as COL I really cant tell the difference between there and Hawaii other than the cost of milk and meat in Hawaii which is outrageous.

With the latest stabilization developments, you don't have to leave HI for some time, do you?

What's your MOS again? Aren't you signal? (my future branch, hopefully )

Yes Sir, I am in the Signal Corps 25U to be exact. As far as stability I reenlisted for the Stryker BDE so I am pretty much here in Hawaii till the earliest 07/2009. I do though sometimes regret doing so because originally I was supposed to move on to an infantry Bn. (within 25ID) but since I got promoted there were no slots there and I ended up staying in field artillery. I am thinking about going warrant, 254B I believe is the exact same job I am doing now with just more meetings with officers like yourself.

Dude, I'd be more than happy to talk shop. Maybe you fill me in about Ft Gordon & such and I could fill in the gaps about all of the officer BS.
