S.O.S HELP. somebody.....
help this morning my car took a **** going up the highway.......its idling rough, the check engine light is flashing, and occasionally blows smoke.......i was hoping somebody had a code reader......... Any ideas
Hopefully a sensor or something died but it's probably something mechanical that died.
What's your mods?
I know a whole bunch of people either have code readers or APs.

vakamon does just about everything. Also ive got a code reader and plan on heading out to bellows tomorrow morning. If you need to use it today ill be in town around 230ish

what year is your car? if all you have is an intake why don't you go to the dealership asap as it should still be under warranty? just a thought since a flashing cel is usually pretty bad.

umm..is smoke coming from your hood area? i've heard of this happening to another wrx...he didn't have warranty but his cousin is a mechanic at the subaru here in kona..if im not mistaken it was somethin to do w/ the piston rings..i was kinda krunk..but i can vaguely remember him talkin about this....try driving it as least as possible..but get it checked ASAP...g'luck

yeah i'm trying not to drive it very much..... from what i have dealed with motors in the past to me is sounds like a head gasket...but i'm not a sure about the computer stuff..... its over my head..... the warranty is out its an 02 so you guys think i should go to vakamon or an dealer......

does vakamon do head polishing and porting. cause if the heads get pulled might as well put in new bumpsticks and valves, maybe even do some valve work...... have to talk to vakamon to see the price
