Rigid suspension in HI
I think that I understand that this body roll isn't necessarily bad and inertia/centrifugal force is tremendously hard to defeat, and owners of a WRX wagon might as well give it up. On the other hand, those cars that I see on TV that have almost eliminated body roll seem to be able to turn on a rail. Even some prepped cars I've seen down at HRP seem to have no body roll.
What's the closest some of you have been able to come towards defeating body roll in your WRX/RS?
Are there cons in eliminating body roll? ...if it can actually be accomplished?

hey pat. in this pic of a BTCC car, roll is almost gone.

it is very nice when they clip the bumps and you see the short strokes maxed like these pics.

Ha ha.
2 words....aww yeah.
After talking to you, B, sounds like tuning suspension is equally as hard as tuning engine management. So many factors.
With the AWD wagon (being top heavy and all) body roll can be good for the feedback, huh?

Whiteline's Words On Castor
Six reasons why "too much castor is never enough"...
- Maximise tyre contact patch during roll
- Improve turn-in response
- Increase directional stability
- Maximise tyre contact patch during braking and acceleration
- Improve steering feel and self-centre'ing
- Increase dynamic negative camber (on turn)
Why increase castor before camber?
- Camber doesn't improve turn-in, positive caster does
- Camber is not good for tyre wear
- Camber doesn't improve directional stability
- Camber adversely effects braking and acceleration
