Moberg died at The Queen's Medical Center at 8:15 p.m.
Police vehicular homicide investigators said Moberg was riding with five other motorcyclists when he lost control of his 2002 Honda at a bend on winding Kaukonahua Road, about one-quarter mile south of Poamoho Street.
Moberg's motorcycle veered off the road, struck a right-side guardrail, spun back onto Kaukonahua and into the path of another Honda motorcycle. The impact forced the second Honda to hit a Kawasaki motorcycle, police said.
Moberg was ejected after his motorcycle hit the guardrail, police said.
All three motorcyclists were wearing helmets. The two others motorcyclists injured were taken to the hospital in serious condition, police said.

I didn't really know Bobby, just met him at one of the meets. Seemed like a really nice guy, and obviously loved by all. Deepest sympathy goes out to his family.

Wow this is really sad. I just talked to Bobby not too long ago, he pullled up next to me on Kapiolani Blvd at a red light few weeks back. Kind of freaky talking to someone who's gone now. My sympathy goes out to his family.
