what type of gear oil did you decide on putting in? Synthetic?

- glad to see that the BETTER tech was able to get rid of the rattles

 

I picked up some 75W90 gear oil but we never got around to using it. Turned out to be my CV joint/boot. The exhaust knocked the clamp off and some of the grease leaked out. Luckily, Richard had a CV kit on hand and was able to replace the grease and clamp.

Nino was actually the one who stopped the rattles. No knock on your skills though bro.

 

I'm going to be changing out my gear oil with redline 75W90 for the front and rear even though the FSM says that you need 80W90 for the front and 75W90 for the rear! 75W90 should cover the range that the diff needs

Anyone know what I can use as an equivalent to "Three Bond 1105"? I need this for when I seal the differencial after fluid change.
