respect the sohc civic?
have u guys seen this one? not sure what civic model it is, but it says it has a stock internal D16 engine w/ turbo running 12.7 @109. saw it at the tracks last week saturday but didn't see it run.

When he can run 12.7 AND kick some **** out on the long/short course, then I'd be interested, but STILL not to the point of respecting a Civic.

well put jason. i admit the civic is what got me into import cars, but after personally meeting some of the owners, i changed my mind. some of them just make me laugh. just recently this senior from st. louis (where i go) was saying his crx could do 13.5 at 120. the 13.5 i understand, but at 120mph? i highly doubt that. anyway just my .02

I think 12.7 for a honda sohc is a pretty good time but for respect? not really because is really easy, cheap, alot of parts avaible and fast to built a honda. I only can give respect to a honda if they run at least 10 or lower. I give more respect on a person who built a fast car on any brand than a honda because is harder to find parts and cost more.

same here dude...dont like the straight line thing n e more, gets boring. i go in a straight line anywhere. togue n **** is fun. as for that civic, i give some props but i'd give more if was all motor. any fully built sohc motor can do that...forest's dx motor is doing it frum endless, got another homeboi too thats hitting low 13's with a dx turbo motor. pretty nutz, anyway speed safely...k den shootz
