Removing the front emblem mod?

Man I love the free mods, but hate it when I'm not sure how to do it right. So I was checking out the pics of the AUW cruise you guys had and saw a couple of cars with the front emblem in the grill removed, and I really like the look. So is there a way to do it yourself? Is there a lot of cutting and painting involved? Or are you guys just getting aftermarket grills?

Thanks Hommies!

Ill be removing mine as soon as i can get the new grill painted. I think it does look good w/o the front emblem.
