Remember your first unavoidable ding or sctratch
I was working at Pearl Harbor and i got out early to find a deep crater on the side of my WRX. WTF i said to myself, stood back and looked around with an angered look on my face. Suddenly everyone became a suspect and everyone was just a target practice for my fist and foot. After that experience, i always made sure my car was parked on a sidewalk, near a well groomed car, or stalls that only one car could park on either side. Man how i wish WRXs were dent and scratch resistant.

3 weeks into owning my XT, I got a dent on my rear right fender at the UH parking structure. I was pretty upset, but what ticks me is that i didn't catch who did it, and whoever did it was too pu$$y to leave a not or something. It was so deep, it looked almost like it was on purpose. This SUCKS! it still had its paper plates!
A full size ford p-up parked next to my gf Spec v while we were having dinner. When we were leaving, i happened to look at the side of the car. Lo and behold, a couple of dings in the same area which looks like... opened door and ding, then get out of truck, let door get higher... then ding. Truck was pretty new and it was shiny black just polished. Have you ever heard the saying " what bad you do comes back to you tenfold." ? Well poor guy. He should have watched how he opened his door. He may have thought that it was another Sentra, but no... its our prized Spec=V. Now for his dent in his nice truck. Gonna take more than the dent removal kit to get it out.. Spec v door edges= pretty nasty dents.
somebody (haters) shot my car with a pellet gun when i was parked on kahala ave one night....busted my driver mirror and made about 5 dings along the left side of the car....2 months later i hit a gaurd rail..but that was my fault...
Yep, My first ding... I got hooked up the first day driving the car. Parked very far away with no one near me went shopping @ the NEX came back about 20 minutes later to see a big ugly shopping cart turned over on driver side rear door. No witnesses. Boy was I Pissed. People need to return their carts.

my first unavoidable ding was due to stress put on the body of my car when driven hard...atleast that's what my ding guy said when he rubbed it out. it sucked...nothing hit it, tapped it, knocked on it; it was in the oddest place on the exact same place on both sides of my car. hardly noticable, but when you stare at your car long enough daily you notice.
my 1st was Totaly avoidable... brought it to work (valet) and instead of putting it in a big spot, put it in a regular one.. and within the 1st 15 min... car door Ding ! and this was from one of my co-workers !! left a red mark (from the color of the car)... and the guy tried to remove it with Goof Off... but since my white car was a bit dirty.. it was like he jus rubbed the dirt into the paint. now i don't care too much about dings... and lesson is... a tip before-hand to the valet can help
