Yes, It's an up-pipe. I know that but I'm buying it from a guy on here. Kind of bad form, I know, but I want you're opinion because *gasp* I trust you guys. Thanks
what the heck is that little thing sticking out on the bottom right side??
Is that some hacked in temp probe or something?
If you want a cheap, good, new, uppipe, get an ATR. $170 or so

The welds are fine from the exterior. For that price you really can't go wrong. But more importantly are the welds from the inside. You weld from the inside that way you dont overheat and warp the flange. The outside should only get tack welds if anything. But of course not many uppipe makers follow this train of thought. Then again there are some very thick flanges on some uppipes to not need this way of building things.
What it comes down to it that it's an uppipe and performance wise there is NO DIFFERENCE WHATSOEVER. That is a good price and if it does happen to leak, thats where Bill @ Prestige's thicker gaskets come into play.

I dunno, it's hard to see. It looks as if the bung was welded on after-the-fact. And I will just take a guess that the other 'whatever it is' is an aftermarket EGT bung or something.
Personally, ... I wouldn't buy it.
If you wait just a little while, ... there might be a used up-pipe you can buy locally.

This Up-pipe (the one at the top of the page) is what I had, (I think) and what Mike has now. It has gone down in price A Lot since we bought ours, but this is a nice piece.

I appreciate all of your input. I'm going to go ahead and get the up-pipe pictured on this page. As far as I can tell, through reading numerous posts and talking to a few people, an up-pipe is an up-pipe. If I can get one for $110 vice $170+, then I will. If It's a piece of crap and I have to remove it later to install something better, then it's on me. I've been warned. Thanks again.
