i just bought a truck. the thing is the safety on the truck is expired. n i havent transfered the title & registration under my name yet. but wen i went in to do so. they told me i couldnt trnafer it because the safety is expired? im tryin to sell the truck but how am i to transfer the title?

 

Get safety check.
Get transer of title.
Get it registered.

 

but the truck doesnt have insurance. n i dont wanna just get insurance for a day. cause im going to sell it.

 

Step 4. PROFIT!

 

your going to have to get insurance to do the safety check. They wont pass you until you have proof of insurance and the title of the car. If you pass they will give you blue paper which is the Temp Safety check. When you get that go register the truck. After you register the truck go back to the place that did your safety check at, show them the registration and they will put the stickers on the truck...
