whats the fee/penalty for no front bumper foam if I loose tomorrow at court?
WHAT WILL HAPPEN?

ok just got back from court and I showed the judge my paper from Subaru saying that I bought a front bumper foam and all I payed was $30 wooohooo what a relief.

hahahahaha.. how does foam do any of that..

all that i know it does is help hold the bimper from bouncing around so much...

I was curious and asked UnpimpeD about this and most of the time the bumper foam is simply used as a spacer between the bar and bumper cover.
Some cars have "plastic honeycomb" or Polypropylene foam instead of the brackets and bars, this particular foam is an actual energy absorber.

So yeah, most the time it is just a spacer. I think that is one of the recon laws they are trying to work on.

so what about the trucks some of them dont have.

yeah so we take more damage and they get a scratch. foam is only good if your planning to hit someone at 5mph or dont know how to park. btw who goes or stays at a constant 5mph.
