Put on the new exhaust.

Dropped in the new exhaust today. Wasn't a very good day. My good friend helped me, and was tightening one of the downpipe bolts and unfotunately for me used his hip as leverage against the fender. So needless to say, I heard the little "took" and saw a lovely new dent about the size of a baseball on my fender. He felt like crap, I controlled my anger. (it is just a car, and he has been my best friend since I was about 8)

Anyway, I like the exhaust, Im not as pumped about it as I thought I would be. It sounds great, but I kinda like the stealth look of the Hush. What are you gonna do. Now I have to get used to the 4 inch tip. Didn't take any pictures yet, gotta get an estimate on fixing the fender and no pictures of my car until it is fixed.

Next on the agenda is brakes, and finally putting in my STi top mount. Got my splitter today, just waiting for my STi hood scoop.

Brakes are gonna be great. I bought Subaru 4pots, Stoptech slotted rotors (Front and rear) and cobb brake lines. Should be fun. I'll keep you all posted.

Laters,
Dan

sometimes you can take a small rubber malled and pop them out from the inside, if the paint is not cracked on the dent, this may be possible. wont be hard or expensive. shouldnt be, anyway....good luck.

^^^Thanks, I thought about that but I'll leave it to the professionals, I know they usually "massage" the dent so It wont bubble the paint.

Congrats on the new exhaust. These cars have an unmistakably cool sounding exhaust especially when coupled with the whooshing wastegate and blow-off valves!

Good thing is that paintless dent repairs are fairly cheap.

Congrats on the new exhaust...is it loud? Must be good to get out of your car and push out your chest as all the girlies drop their panties and hand them to you.

Roy, I have put the tmic on yet, still waiting for a hood scoop. Anyone know how much I have to bend the bracket to get it to fit properly (the top mount that is )
