Whats up fellas, been in the island for over 3 yrs, Ive been in I-club for a year 1/2 now, ever since I was in Iraq Ive had a chance to meet all you old folks here and the ones who have moved on to the mainland, and of course the noobs... I just wanna say thanks and looking foward for my next 1000 post.... Jose

Hey... does the sti go through car washes( automatic) without damaging the wing?

Thanks, and I havent even try yet going thru a car wash, I just rather do it my self to prevent anything, but my friend took his,,, no prob...

wow, from 1,000 posts to washing the STi -
my personal advice on car washes- NO
they will scratch, and like the sign says- "we will not be held responsible..."
posted at every car wash. if you do chance it - at the least go to the car wash @ 76 right across kahala mall. they still have the 'ol school "fabric" brushes that go sides by side... not the plastic rollers like everyone else.

If you really don't want to wash the car yourself, at least go to a hand-wash place. It's not alot more than the machines and alot safer.

OR you go to the car washes they hold in parking lots for sports teams or cheerleading squads.

they are out there for money only, and dont care for my car as i do....its MY hands only....they are there for donations based on quantity of cars pushed through, not a job-well-done.
