Aloha Subaru enthusiast. The potential for me to move my family to Maui has potentially fallen into place. I have a few questions. Currently I’m tuned on E85 and 92oct. What is the premium octane rating at the pump? My air pump is removed and I have several mods. Do they care about these things during inspection and or smog testing? I just passed emissions here no problem. I saw a drag strip there last time, but are there auto X events? I may have a job there as a painter, but trying to get on as a longshoreman before I move. Kinda surprised to see a big Subaru community there as all I saw was Toyota’s four out of five cars on the road. Going to fly back to Maui to look at housing in November to really gauge the situation better. I hope it all works out as I have a plan to turn plastic bags into inedible decomposing material so turtles do not eat them. I want this to become a reality sooner than later. Anyway hope to hear some input on my questions.
