Is the WRX your only means of transportation? If so, I would suggest waiting for an off day for the uppipe because sometimes you just never know what goes wrong(ie. frozen bolt, broken bolt, other probs). I've got the tools if you need.

with the right amount of tools, the install would be a snap. make sure you have everything ready such as the gaskets etc etc. you will want to do the install easy not rush into things. rushing can result in broken bolts which in turn leads to wasted time to City Mill

day time work is out for me, I work all day.

Dan's got a decent point about the o2 sensor bung in the downpipe. If you ever want to tune your car, or have it tuned, with a wideband sensor, you might as well go to exhaust systems hawaii or somewhere and have them weld in an o2 sensor bung. It can be done later on of course, but since it's out already .... If you decise to have the bung welded in, make sure you get it in an accessible place!! And also in a position so that the sensor will be mounted so when in place, it is in a 9 o'clock to 3 o'clock postion in realtion to the 'top' of the pipe.

also, when doing the uppipe, you probably want to have a dremel handy so you can cut the heat shield by the senosr hole to the edge, which will make it a lot easier to get it on and off. (especially if you don't have a 'sensor socket'.)

np, anytime. glad we can put in the FMIC(didn't help much), uppipe(didn't help much there either), turboback system. in all, i think it was kinda cake besides the Blitz SUS and FMIC thing.

think about this one...the SARD Racing Intake w/ Samco MAF hosing.

If you notice, the FMIC pipes are over the intake but the way you have yours situated, it probably have to put the intake over it.

you also know what vendor sells the HKS intake also? damn, i was test driving the car, and my car died on the road, found out that the pipe that holds onto the bov on the intercooler came out , pretty scary, thought i needed to tow my car at that point, but i put it back on, hopefully i can get it on tighter later, gotta tighten those hoses. thanks

daymn. yeah you can blame Jon on that!(just kiddin). You should always double check the tightness of the piping. i would check all the piping too by pulling and playing with them to see if it actually comes loose or not.

were you at manoa? if so then SCSI got embarassed by ya

anyway,on the sard intake, i'm not too sure who carries it but i know vivid does but they're not really good at sending stuff down here to be honest. the piece is just as expensive and does not include the samco maf hose unfortunately. thats like another 170 bucks.

I would also check on the AVO intake....but anyway, for the HKS intake, its called HKS Mega Flow. I don't know why vendors don't carry it anymore but I would suggest you do a search on it to find more information. I believe the diamater is about 200mm(give 20mm to be generous) for the Mega Flow.
