My absolutely first crack at HDR processing. I dusted off a Canon Rebel XTi that's been sitting in my closet for over a year and took some quick snaps. There is some ghosting in the trees because I used 3 separate exposures for the image, I'm going to try using a single exposure and adjusting the image via software instead of bracketing in camera. Since I just started, I'm not really comfortable with the workflow and only guessed at the tone mapping settings, but I'll keep working on it.

Looks GOOD! great first attempt. If you have a photo editing program you can remove the ghost leaves from the trees

You are right... but as Jon said, I just needed a pic to play with. The HDR process, however, did improve the image as the area in shadow in the properly exposed shot is very dark. Then again, the shadow/highlight adjustment in Photoshop might have fixed that by itself...
In any case, I used to picture to learn with, I will look for more appropriate conditions for HDR in the future.

I knew you were the one that took the picture of the featured car on nasioc or at least knew the guy and had photographed his car at one time or another.
