You know, I take what I said back. Totally not like the leggy. Handling is different. Maybe because the weight difference, turbo vs. my na leggy. Plus better tires.

Now that the Outback won SUOTY I am officially torn between whether to get Action Gurl the Forester or Outback. I am leaning Outback but she wants Forester or Rav4. We will probably go Forester N/A (hopefully by then with the CVT for MPGs).

Can you take some interior pics at some point? Of the back seat and of the cargo area? Does it have the underfloor storage thingies that my wagon has?

it doesn't have much space to store things under the back of the cargo area but there is enough space for the spare and a few minor things. i also have a tool kit and it fits nicely. the 09+ foresters do have a lot more room then previous models did. most noticeable is the back seat that can now comfortably fit a large sized person such as myself with no touching the front seat with my knees. i think overall the forester look is better than the outback but if you want something with room and a litter smaller body wise it's a good choice. you should def go look at some bpang. fxt-4-life

Yeah I hear you on the leg space of the old Forrester. When *cough* Josh *cough* crashed his I was in the back seat. My head hit the front seat and my shins were both bruised up from smooshing against the back seat edge.

That's why I am so excited about both the outback and fozzie...both have more room...good for baby seats.
