Pictures of cars that have passed recon.

Hey fellas! I'm new on the island here, and i've been reading up about recon, and figured it might be a good idea to start a thread that just gives people an idea of what the Recon inspectors have deemed acceptable to pass the test. I'm sure if enough cars post, a visible trend will become apparent and we'll all be able to develop an idea of whats acceptable. Idk, i thought it might be cool! Not sure if it will catch on, but hey i figured why not!

Got my safety check today. Weird, my STI passed with flying colors, but my Tacoma failed due to power steering. Goodyear was an a-- and flagged my Tacoma to the dmv. They also charged for the safety though the Tacoma did not pass.

You still gotta pay even if you did not pass, but you don't have to keep paying. My Camry failed 4 times.... and ITS COMPLETELY STOCK! I really hate the double standards of Hawaii. I have seen a plethora of police officers with cops THAT WOULD NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS PASS SAFETY yet have stickers....

A sad day when you sold the wagon. Was really really nice! Could not miss you on the road.

I miss it at times, but I had my fun with it and it was a good run. Moved on, but will always have good memories of the wagon and Iclub. Even though I don't come out to as much of the meets anymore, I still check in from time to time. I think the car had 2 owners after me, and in rolling on VS-XX's now, or at least the last time I saw it.

Weird cause I was able to schedule an appointment Apr 14th. Maybe someone cancelled and I got in on time. But damnn they need to open another inspection shop or something. I also heard that the car headlight has to be at least 22 inches from the ground up. Do they also still do the bounce test? If so, just gonna try set my dampers to the softest to see if that helps.
