Does anyone have a picture or diagram of the hole in the rear parcel shelf for the 3rd brake light for wingless cars? I got the brake light screwed down but just sitting on the shelf so it looks odd and rattles against the glass. I'm going to pull out the shelf this weekend and cut the hole, I want to see what the hole is supposed to look like so I know what I'm shooting for. Thanks.

 

im pretty sure they should be there in the medal just have to trace it from underneath onto the deck and cut it

 

Is there a cutout on the top of the metal part? From below, there is a round 1-1/2" or so hole for the wire and two holes with slots for the bolts that hold the light in place, but nothing that suggests the hole I need to make in the parcel shelf for the base of the light.

I saw one pic in a trunk swap thread that just showed the edge of the hole, it looks to be rectangular to match the bottom of the third brake light. I want to know approximately how big it is and if it goes all the way to the rear glass, i.e., if it is an actual hole or more like a cutout in the shelf.
