Pets to work?
If you could bring your pet (cat, dog, etc...) to work would you? Would you be willing to work longer hours? Less pay? Do you think it would reduce the amount of stress you develop in your workplace?
Personally, i love dogs so if i could bring my old dog, Boogie to work i would do it in a heartbeat. He was very well mannered and loved people. Not very outgoing but he loved the attention. When i would leave the house he would look like i was leaving forever and when i came back he thought it was the greatest thing sincem well, everything. I would work longer hours and might take a slight pay dependent on other things.

my old boss used to bring in his boxer/rhodisian ridgeback mix. The dog was super strong, insanely well trained and mannered, and sweet as hell. She made the entire office a much friendlier place. Plus she helped break the ice whenever clients would come by.
Also, when it was quiet, the partners and I would bring her into the meeting room, wrap one of us in bubble wrap, and then wrestle with her til she pretty much ripped it all off. Great dog.
I am down for bringing pets to work as long as they're well mannered. If they like to bark or bite, they gotta stay home. When I think about it, as much as I enjoy dogs at work, I wouldn't bring mine. To have to watch over him AND concentrate on my work would be kind of distracting.

i would, theres something about having a dog that just eases that edge off of daily life, and having my dog at work would definately help, plus she plays great fetch!!
