use some heat from a blow drier or a heat gun when you use the goo gone..... and us a little elbow grease bro....

 

ummm. thanks for the information guys but i don't think you guys are reading the entire thread. I've since resolved the issue and it had nothing to do with the left over adhesive at all. The trunk was stained (meaning no adhesive left) by the adhesive being in contact with the trunk so i needed a method to remove teh STAIN only not the adhesive. I definitely know how to debadge my trunk
