Hey guys,

Alright, here is the scoop...Tune-day is set for November 7th. If there is the need, we will add another day. Jarrad will attempt to fit in as many as he can during this unexpected short trip.

Time is running out...I will be collecting this Friday at the I-Club meet.

This will guarantee you a tune/dyno slot on November 7th. At the meet, I will also explain how things will work so that we have a smooth day.

If you have not experienced a tune before...I would highly recommend one...

Of the 2 Subaru's I've owned prior(04 STI, 05 STI) and now an 06 WRX getting tuned this upcoming session, each of the STI's were tuned by Jarrad with significant useable power increases throughout the entire powerband...you will not be dissapointed.

so this is an open source street tune then??

 

I believe it can be either or, depending if you want a dyno sheet or not.

 

It's a Dyno tune...Jarrad does not like to do road tunes unless it is on a closed course.

He can do Open Source tunes if you like.

I prefer the Accessport because if you want something dialed in and Jarrad is not here, you can take a datalog of your car using the Accessport, then send the results to Jarrad. He can then take those results, modify your protune, and send it back to you...works great...

 

thanks for the response. i will hold off for a little while on the tune. there is a lot that i am planning on doing soon enough.

 

Jarrad is a nice guy and really easy to work with. He'll do what you want because he realizes it's your car.

I hope to have him back on Maui in the future to tune my potential upgrades.

 

Ed's right on...Jarrad will take care of you before, during, and most importantly "after" the tune...

The boys on Maui have finally jumped on board and now realize the potential of our cars with a proper tune!

With a new custom intake but same boost level as before, we managed 431whp/463wtq - up from 416whp/443wtq or thereabouts...

I'm stoked!

 

Most importantly, it's a tune for a DD!
