glad to see some new members tuning their cars properly instead of just slapping parts in....just remember, it's not how much hp/tq you got. the main thing is that your car is tuned correctly and running efficiently.
nice numbers everyone! drive safe.

Some pics from 3/13 PDX tune. Didnt take much due to dying iphone battery. Hope nobody minds me posting their car. If so just lemme know. Great tuning session even though dyno was down. I got estimated with 280 hp at 19lbs of boost in my wrx wagon. GREAT DAY
Please post more pics!
Dang, these cars are soooo intimidating!!! Awesome plumbing and detail on the 'bay.
More, please!
Getting the proper and SAFE tune is the way to go.
Congrats to all! Yes, and do Drive Safely.

hey thanks for posting pics of my engine bay(Philipp right), the HFS-6 and eBoost street were wired wrong so when we did the road tune i boosted at 30 PSI!!! WTF!!! rewired it and failsafe stayed on the whole time at wastegate pressure. then we wired it back the way it was and did the road tune again. according to Jarrad and the parameters he set and the way he said it feels. it's definitely right above 400whp. a push of the eboost street to SP2 and i have an extra 15 ish whp for those a-holes that wanna rev.

[QUOTE=dub81;3040974]I got a call from brent while at work and he was saying someone threw a rod so I guess that person was looking for a short block.
The car that had a rod issue was parked already at RAD...it was one of their customers...an 03 PSM bugeye...he is the one looking for a STI block that I called for Reyn about...Give Reyn a call...they are really in need of the block.
One car had a pressure leak...the other, not sure at this point...but there was smoke.

Nobody at the tune...had a rod knock...
As mentioned...the rod knock was a RAD motorsports customers car that yeah, had better days...I haven't heard a Subaru with a knocking rod in person until Saturday...it is definitely a very bad sound.
The tune went very well over all.
Saturday, the dyno seemed fine but began exhibiting some strange readings toward the end...but held up. 6 cars...1 too many for the day really. Hanging out in a carbon monoxide filled garage all day really took it out of us...
Sunday, the dyno refused to work at all...so as not to ruin the tune session, Jarrad graciously road tuned the remaining cars in a safe and efficient manner. For those that tuned on Sunday, no numbers were available due to the unavailability of the dyno...
It was a great time to hang out with everyone, sharing stories, eating, drinking...looking forward to the next one...
hmm....maybe SEPTEMBER...
Thanks everyone for making this another great tune day for PDXtuning.com!!!
Thanks Jarrad!

I think road tuning has advantages over a dyno. You tune the car for your actual driving in your driving environment. The downside is you don't get any numbers.
