Have any of you been required to pay additional money on top of the original asking price + the original shipping price in order for you to get what you purchased to your front door?

Back when I was shopping around for my sedan fenders for my conversion, I had a "deal" made for both fenders for $250 shipped to Hawaii. One fender was damaged, and the other was cherry. Anyways, I paypal'd the guy and he tells me the fenders are still on the car and will be taken off the car that weekend and shipped out. I was like, no prob's since that's a hell of a good deal on a set of fenders......with shipping. So I wait patiently. 1 week passes and the guy tells me the weather's been really bad so he couldn't remove them.......fine, I'll wait. Another 3 or 4 days pass, and he's finally got them off the car and ready to ship. I'm like COOL....sedan conversion, here I come. The next day he PM's me and says it will be another $250 to ship it to Hawaii. I'm like........WTF. I specifically asked for a final price shipped to my zip code. Long story short, I told the jerk off to just refund my money and thanked him for wasting like 3 weeks of my time.

I'm an ***, I got a set of used coilovers shipped from AZ, for $210... he was pissed. Didden't figure shipping to HI, or set a reserve price. Oops!
When I ordered my alt, they made a mistake on the shipping but they honored their quote.
Usualy if they try to jack up the price, i try to make it as painful as I can for them to do it, and if I can't get them to honor it, usualy just go somewhere elce.
i bought a set of used SS for 425, he was asking 400 shipped to the us, but figure 25 would cover the extra cost to hawaii.haha boy was he mistaken....shipping came out to 80 bucks more ...but he didnt make a big fuss about it and was really cool! coils were like new! too
