I passed safety check with totally cleared headlights...it helped that I bought the silverstar amber bulbs for the formerly amber areas.

Tip for you...MAKE SURE TO USE PLENTY of the black silicone splooge all around the part that you pry apart...TRUST ME.

Just like in ****, it is better to have more splooge than not enough.

 

my headlights have amber blinkers...and i cleared mine out at the same time blake did his =)

 

Does this apply to recon also?? Could I pass recon if I have cleared headlights with amber blinkers?

Sorry to high jack this thread, but would anyone of you subject matter experts clear and paint my 04 STI headlights?

I have any of the following to trade for the labor:
1) WRX Kartboy short shifter with shifter bushings
2) STI 5speed titanium piston shift ****
3) exedy 5speed lightened flywheel
4) 04 WRX sports clutch (about 20k miles)
