damn... my brother was so excited that he went ahead and updated mine after he did his. i even asked him what it did. see i hardly use my psp, i was waiting for better games. i wish i knew about emulators before i let him touch my psp. well time to go yell at him, haha

...at lest my NES ones work...the memory swap trick is easy...there's a way to get it so you dont need to swap cards, but i didnt bother trying it out yet, as i dont have a card reader...look here:

and there's a crapload of emulators out: NES, SNES, genesis, SMS, GB color, GBA, turbografx, and some other ones i cant remember...i think people are working on PS1 emulators too...
as for the rumor of having to update the firmware to play new games, if it'll come to that, i'll just buy another psp :P
