Hey, guys. Where can i get some really good poke? Without having to go near downtown. Any type...

Ft ruger market in kaimuki by KCC has fresh tuna for poke but EXPENSIVE!! It's good though. Go make your own it's better that way. Tuna, Sea salt, Shoyu, Seaweed, maui onion, green onion, dashi no moto (ask me if you don't know this one) sesame seed, some kind of peanut oil and a very small amount of sesame seed oil is optional. limu koho is good too. well that's my recipe

JJ's seafood in kaneohe.... has some really good poke... they cater to luau's... the fish is cut into smaller pieces... and the fish is always fresh.
