Girls only get hot over cars they know are expensive. They're in it for the cachet, not the powah.

Not the Elise.
Have you guys ever seen or sat in one? Or talked to someone who's driven more than 15 miles in one?
It is an AWESOME car, but not for an everyday driver, ... especially in Hawaii.
I'd say buy an STi and do a handle of mods on it and stop being a poser!!!
hahaha!
or the Z06 ...

I would literally do a soft-core "furry" hetero **** for a Z06. Maybe even in a Hello Kitty suit while whistling the theme song from The Avengers. I mean seriously - this seems like a no-brainer.

...i already have first right of refusal on a 04 Z06 that'll be coming in at the end of the year...but the Z06's are going for 6-7k UNDER msrp for the 04's on the mainland...i may be getting the one here, depending on the price they can give it to me for...if i 'll have to pay msrp, i'll just wait for the next gen Z06...
also, i dont wanna kick myself in the *** for not waiting, as the vette is due for a makeover in 05, and the next Z06 is also due out in 2006 with 500-550hp...
as for the elise being a daily driver, *IF* i do decide to go that route, i'll be keeping my current M3...
OR, i could just say f-it, and mod the crap outta my M3 right now...dinan supercharger and stage 3 suspension sure sounds real nice...
thanx for the opinions guys...

Whoa... That right there throws a monkeywrench into the works! If you get the brand new Elise - your daily "beater" would be a pimped out M3?
Economics, Bro! That scenario is at the top of the heap right now (only SLIGHTLY behind would be the 1 car Z06 situation).

I have the same feelings about the Z06 as Rich... minus the Hello Kitty thing-that's just frickin wierd-get the Z06. Then mod the crap out of that. Have you been out to the track when a certain, modified, black Z06 is tearing it up? Do it.

truth is i dunno what i'm gonna do...depends on the price of the vette when it comes in december...
and richard, i'd hardly call my M3 pimped out...it's pretty much stock, just rims/exhaust/wing...but it'd be cool to have that as my daily driver and elise as a track/auto-x car...
oh well, thanx everyone for confusing me even more...

^^^For $100k you can have a 725hp TT that looks completely stock. I've never forgotten about it since it was on Car & Driver tv a couple years ago........sounds like a jet when the guy w/a radar gun is standing on the side of the road and its hitting 225mph in both directions!!!
