As anyone who was listening at autocross this afternoon would know, the SCCA people are measuring the interest in -and considering starting up- RallyX here

E-mail Ed Hollman (e-mail address available here) and let him know you are interested!

Yeah, this was in the making for awhile and all efforts, sweat, and blood go out to eRica(eRicaswagon) and dave(cynt) and another person for they were the true organizers in putting this together, contacting all the specific people especially with the guys from the dept. of land & zoning guys. So if this sport does take off especially with the subaru community/AWD community.. First off is to see if there will be a heavy interest in this sport in order for it to take off so its sorta like testing waters. So lets make the RallyX our stomping grounds and support this. Elway and I will be getting more info from our Boss Lady after the Holiday Season dies down so we could concentrate on it more. More info can be found here. Elway, I know your itching already.

Good luck with your endevours
I hope that they understand that rally-x is something you don't normally do with your daily driver or with a street suspension... Ruts have a habit of tearing stuff apart
It's also a lot of work, Whoever is going to be in charge of this will be in for a lot of responsibility and pressure, not to mention having to deal with safety issues, getting timing equiptment ( auto-x stuff don't work well with the dirt ) and the other hazards of running an automotive event.
With that said, good luck, I hope something works out for rally-x and If it does get off the ground, I'll pickup a old civic or other beater to race you guys with.

Anyone interested in this good luck to you all.
I believe most of you who say you're gonna do this, probably won't.
You all don't even want to "beat up" your cars @ autocross, what makes you think you'll do it in a rally-x!!!
If you all get beaters, remember to have somewhere to dispose of it when it breaks, because I guarantee it will!!
That being said,I'll race my truck there,if there is a class for it.
Beware the SOHC Hammer!!! KA24e FTW!!!!
Done it in the dirt & sand before,so I want this to happen as much as anyone!!!
Standing in a dirty field,in the hot sun,or if its raining,in the mud, chasing cones, sounds like a winner to me!!!!!
Hope this comes to fruition!!!
Start buying up all the $500.00 cars you can get your hands on!!!!

True that those type of people exist and the way I see it as its a 50/50 ratio but c'mon guys lets not discourage the others. Shiz, i thought you had one of those sr hardbody all this time.
When i checked out one of the rallyx in SoCal, i've seen all sorts of cars from an rx7 all the way down to a chick driven toy corona's and damn she was a hottie. Ill try to look for some of the pics on my samsung cam. Weird though as I notice i've been post whoring since the rains came.

So, who's going to run the rally-x?
From what I understand, the Lee's have no interest in running an additional event, given the amount of work that they go through to run auto-x I don't blame them... Who then is going to run this event?

Well i plan to do this if it actually takes off. I wont get my car lifted and get it all ready to run rally if this doesnt take off. But if it does then count my car as the rally car and i'll just use joeys car for auto-x =)
Wo0t wo0t hope this takes off, i like to play in the mud.

I'll run rally-x. I'm shooting for the slowest time of the day. You think they'll get mad if I have to go all "JDM Angle" over each bump? Hahah. I'd blow out my tires after the first bump. Good luck with organizing this, I think it would be awesome to see. Hell Auto-x is cool as hell, and all 4 wheels are still on the ground.....well sort of.
