Ok, well my husband got into a car accident in November...it took us two weeks to find a place we can trust with our car...they said that they had trouble ordering parts for the car b/c schuman closed...then they called me to tell me that they ordered the parts from the warehouse that all the parts from schuman went to...so they scheduled me to take my car in the first week of january...after 3 days they call me to tell me to come pick up my car b/c it's just sitting there b/c they can't get the parts from the new warehouse...a month goes by with no phone call...i call them everyday for week before they tell they actually have my parts in their shop...my husband dropped it off last wednesday and we were promised the car back on monday...monday came...they said it's in line to be painted, it'll be ready tuesday...tuesday came, no explanation to why it's not done yet, it'll be ready on wednesday....wednesday i call, oh were having trouble with the hood, it'll be ready thursday afternoon...guess what i just called and they forgot to order the front grill so they say it'll be ready tomorrow...UGH!

Sorry this was kinda long huh!

 

So who did you bring it to? So I don't go there in the future.

they arent making you pay for the car being there or extra labor for all that crap are they, if so i would have to choke a B****, if i were you id be hella so mad id report them to the better business burouea<--mispelled ... thats a long time to be without your car!

 

Sorry, to hear all the BS you are going through with getting your car fixed. They should cut you a deal on all the work, since they kept delaying on their promised completion dates.

 

Sorry to hear that. My dad and I use Kwan's Auto Repair (I know... chinese connections)... they turned my car around in one and half days (passenger side window, a pillar, rear quarter panel). But they're booked up the a$$ tho...

 

I can't be a total B**** to them right now...they still got the car! but we're only paying for insurance deductable, which by now is gone b/c i've been renting a car...an 05 Subaru impreza 2.5rs...but missing the power of the wrx and the sound system!

ok, it's 1:45pm and they still haven't called to get the front grill, he said he's gonna call now, why didn't he call first thing this morning!

yeah...i get to pick up our car now!!! it's not done yet though, they said when they get the front grill i gotta come back so they can put it on! they're gonna put the old grill back on, with tie straps i guess(...hehehe...from the other thread!)

 

same problem i had with my hit and run, it took forever for the other insurance company and my insurance company to get toghether and work something out. long story short, accident tanksgiving car got fixed mid february. ps.s. spelling sucks i worked all day today

 

are you paying for the rental car??? hopefully in insurance company is paying for it...at least your not put miles on your car...
