oldmansan, tell me about TWR
I know we talked it over the last time I was at your house, but I forget things after a few months.
How do they perform?
Do they fit under 16's?
Who distributes them?
Rough cost?
Any bling factor?
How hard is it to get replacement pads?
Does anyone else run them, and what are your opinions.
If this gets technical, please move this to the brake forum. I just posted here because I know that San will get the message.

well I was talking to san about the same thing
since I'm thinking about getting them myself!
According to San, he hasn't tried any other brake system so he cannot compare it to anything (but I'll let him explain that).
They will fit under the stock wheels no problem
oakos currently distributes them for the us (i think they are the only ones could be wrong though)
they said they'd be honoring a front and rear combo that includes everything (4 pot front, 2 pot rear, rotors, brake lines, pads, alan wrenches, loctite) for
$2150 USD 8-10 weeks delivery
$2400 USD Ups Express Air 1-2 weeks
as for bling factor I believe they can paint the caliper any color you want and they are the biggest on the market that will fit under the stock wheels.
I believe you can use brembo pads on this kit (F-40 or F-50 style brake pads)
Hopefully this answered most of the questions...

The fronts
are 310mm X 28mm and the rears are 310/320mm X 20mm. I have the 320s in the rear and will be upgrading to a 318mm in the front. I'm just ****, nothing wrong with the 310. Stoptech uses a 328mm X 28mm for their fronts for comparison. 18mm = .7 inch

Hmmm. I am not very happy with the willwoods, but I want good (read: expensive) wheels. So for now, I'll stay with the stockers and maybe upgrade the brakes. Full kit for ~$2k is pretty good.

The best thing I can say
about TWR is their customer service. My experience with Perrin was bad. I had problems with the TWR brake lines, but it turned out to be my stupidity. They sent a new set of front and rear lines. S2000 Joey figured out the problem and I was good to go. I get a call from TWR (in Canada) to ask how the brakes are. Whoa! I get a hat in the mail. I have a small problem, and they're all over it. I called and talked to Jack for about an hour before I decided on these brakes. I love dealing with companies that back their product. Shimano comes to my mind. I've also had great experiences with Oakos and Noltec. The 320mm rears fit with my wheels, ask before you buy if they'll fit yours.

Good stuff. Thanks for all the input.
Somebody may want to move this to the brake forum. IT could be useful. The only reason I know about TWR is through San.
