Oil change interval

Coming up on the 3000 mark. Should I change my oil at 3750 or 5000? I believe servco's service is set at 5000 but the subaru says to do it at 3750.

I don't know about when to do it but Subaru's having their Fall Care Month. You can get your oil changed for free...so why not do it now then wait and pay a pound of pocket change to do it?

I don't think servco participates...they charge $175 for oil change/inspection. I'm going to do it myself with mobil1.

DIY. An oil change is so simple on the STi, you literally need about 4 tools and some ramps.

Use an OEM filter and make sure you get the OEM drain plug washer. Prefill the filter befor installing.
