I'm supposed to be doing some tuning with Mario in the afternoon tomorrow, but I can possibly meet up with you before the tracks. I'll PM you my number. Just give me a call in the early afternoon & we'll see how it'll go.

As for lowering your ET's, I don't think it'll really do too much in that respect. What it WILL allow you to do, is tune more aggressively with some form of engine management. I don't think the stock ECU is able to compensate enough for it for you to feel anything, or notice any lowering of your ET's.

Never messed with that xylene stuff, seems like too much trouble.

Tolulene has never failed me, ask anyone here.

plz, no flame ....just my $0.02
Great suggestion. I know of myself and 2 or 3 other people looking at this right now. I think the price is what turns me off at this time. I don't want to put 400 bux into that on my Stg 2 setup, when that'll get me a little further into Stage 4 territory. It's definitely something on the list to enhance the final product though!

Agreed, but the initial cost and the fact that I'll have to retune all over again are keeping my lazy butt water injection free.

I certainly considered it. However, the problem I have is with positioning of the spray nozzle. It would actually have to be mounted directly on to the throttle body on a WRX. This is due to the short path between the top mount and TB. Anyone else have thoughts on this? If you have a FMIC, it's perfect. Just beware of running out of fluid when running high boost.

Read above, and mix away! You won't mess your car up, unless you start running too strong of a mixture. From what I've been told and read, keeping the xylene-to-gas ratio at about 20% is safe and effective. Going over that could cause your lines to deteriorate over time, although I haven't read or seen anything like that yet.

Guys, for those of you running stage II Cobb Access Port, here's the 93octane mix. 1 Gallon og Xylene + 3oz of MM Oil plus a full tank of gas will deliver 93.2 Octane.

1 gallon and a half of tolulene per 8 gal. 92.

so when you have a half tank of gas, put in a gallon and a half of tolulene.

YMMV

Nope, never heard of anyone trying this, but I'm interested to see how you run. I used to run 100 octane 24/7, but w/ the Cobb maps, all I need is 93 Octane to run efficient.
